Welcome to the Sinking Valley Vineyard and Winery
Our Vineyard grows in the forests of the Cumberland Plateau in Sinking Valley. The vineyard and winery overlook a long valley of sinkholes and caves. The runoff from Sinking Valley forms Short Creek the "biggest short creek in the world", about 10 miles down from the winery.
True to Kentucky, our barrels are made by Ronnie Robinson master craftsman and owner of East Bernstadt Cooperage. The cooperage is located in Laurel co. about 35 miles from our winery. The barrels are made from white oak from this region. We are barrel fermenting some of our white wines and barrel aging some of our premium red wines.
We currently have available Concord wines in Sweet, Semi-Sweet and Dry varieties.
available for purchase by the glass and bottle.
